Chris Gould

Chris Gould isthe principal consultant with Premier Licensing and member of the BII. He has 30 years experience as a Metropolitan Police Officer and was Licensing Officer at Sutton and between 2002 and December 2006 Licensing Officer at Croydon Police Station. In 2004 he was given an award as Champion of Croydon by the Guardian newspaper in conjunction with Croydon Council for the Crime Reduction and Crime Prevention work he had undertaken in the area of Night Time Economy. He introduced the Best Bar None scheme into Croydon in 2003 from Manchester and working in conjunction with other agencies such as the Government of London and the Prime Ministers Office progressed crime reduction in the Town centre.
Chris was instrumental in introducing the Think Safe Drink Safe scheme in 2003 in partnership with Croydon Council. This scheme was aimed at the young club goers in town. To protect them and educate them to plan their journey out and back home later. |
